This a free event for the YSCP community.
Two ways to participate…
1) Kids and/or pets come dressed in costume and meander from car trunk to car trunk, collecting goodies at each stop.
No registration necessary, just show up in costume!

2) Adults sign-up to decorate their car trunk and fill it with goodies.
Keep it simple or get creative. There will be a people’s choice vote for favorite trunks! Park in the YSCP parking lot during the event and give away your goodies. Pre-registration is required for trunks. Limited spaces are available.
Trunk arrive and set-up between 4:45 -5:45 PM.

INFORMATION FOR TREATERS
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Treaters will spend the evening going from trunk to trunk, collecting goodies from vehicle owners who have decorated their vehicles to serve as the backdrop for this family friendly event. Participants can also participate in a scavenger hunt by looking for listed items in trunks.
TIME/CHECK-IN
Trunk or Treating will take place beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please do not arrive early. We will be parking vehicles participating in trunks up until the start of the event.
Upon arrival please check-in at the PAC welcome table by the school entrance. Here enter for a raffle prizes, pick-up your scavenger hunt form.
Trunk or Treating will end at 7:00 p.m.
GAMES & PRIZES
Be sure to bring cash for the 50/50 raffle. Winner will be announced upon conclusion of the event at approximately 7:00 p.m. For the 50/50 drawing, half of the money is awarded to the raffle ticket drawing winner and the other half goes to PAC.
There will be a scavenger hunt based on what will be the trunks. Turn your completed scavenger hunt in to be part of the drawing for prizes!

INCLEMENT WEATHER
If the event can not be held due to weather, we will make that decision by 1 p.m. the day of the event. If the decision is made to postpone, the school will send an email of the postponement by 3 p.m. There is no rain date.
PARKING
Parking will be available in the rear section of the YSCP parking lot on a first-come, first served basis. Overflow parking will be available at Goddard parking lot across the street and additional overflow parking at the Blue Course Community Church parking lot behind the school.
RULES & REGULATIONS
Everyone will be expected to follow the OWLS expectations. Please be courteous and respectful to all.
PETS WELCOME! Well behaved dogs are welcome on a non-retractable leash at all times or at a locked 6’ maximum lead. Dogs’ person must clean up after their pet. Dogs must be current on rabies vaccination. Event organizers reserve the right to eject any aggressive, or obviously ill animal. Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets. YSCP or PAC cannot be held liable for any incidents or injury.
Students must be accompanied by an adult.
YSCP Costume Etiquette must be followed (same as what is sent home for the parade). Please be considerate when selecting a costume for your child. Children cannot have costumes that will be frightening to others. Costumes cannot include any weapons or replicas of weapons. For example, a child may dress as a cowboy or cowgirl, but he or she may not have a pretend gun. Costumes must also follow the school dress code.
